In Search Of A Leader:

Hausienmuan Munluo

With another election just round the corner perhaps the time is right for the people to seriously start the search for a leader who can guide or represent us in every issue. Every Organisation, in its, human resource, have a hidden born leader, who the people should choose with care. If an organization appoint leader who lack sensitivity in dealing with people it will end up losing its trust. So, the people itself must appoint its leader in its human resource itself.

A divided society must choose a leader: - Who has deep insight into what makes the human heart tick, tune into the thoughts and aspirations of others and motivate people to give their best. - A leader who trust other and delegates responsibility. A successful leader resists the impulse to do everything by oneself even if s/he can. It will develop the individual. - A leader who teaches by example and depends less on the power of his position and more on personal charisma and influence.

To conclude:

A great leaders are people with high degree of integrity. They say what they mean and do what they commit to. Such leader can take a stand on complex issues and makes unpopular decisions keeping with his/her inner convictions. But with all our senior students all believing himself ever the best and good on negative criticism to any issue, then, on what ground should we make the choice? This is where the question araise; On what basis should we make our choices; Should it be along the ideology of the person concerned? Should it be about voting along rhetorics line? Should it be a dummy person who can be easily control? Or should it be about the personal quality and integrity of the person concerned? These are all questions, but the truth stands that the time has come for the Zou’s students to seriously choose a leader who can represent us at every issue and guide us forward to unity, keeping aside his personal interest.

We need a leader who doesn’t hesitate to do manual work, who can interact freely with the most junior members to the most senior students and who can always keep in touch with the families. But a leader should not be the monopoly of the elders.!
